Under the supervision of the Director, Production and Projects, the senior technician works in collaboration with project managers, ensuring operational follow-up and rigorous coordination of mandates. Acting as a key resource person, he or she is responsible for maintaining the integrity of data and documentation. Through his or her mastery of tools and proactivity, he or she directly contributes to the efficiency of production and compliance with deliverables.

Main Responsibilities

  • Closely collaborate with project managers in the planning, execution, and operational follow-up of mandates, anticipating needs and proposing solutions.
  • Ensure the management and integrity of project data in Salesforce, the production calendar, and other tracking tools. Act as a super-user and reference for the team.
  • Take charge of the complete project document management: supervise the creation, updating, and filing of quotes, contracts, schedules, purchase orders, and follow-up reports.
  • Actively contribute to budget monitoring by validating and tracking purchase orders, supplier invoices, and project-related expense accounts.
  • Proactively monitor schedules and deliverables, identify potential deviations, and alert project managers to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate the logistical and operational aspects of projects, including communication with suppliers, organizing key meetings, and writing decision-making reports.
  • Act as an operational point of contact for other departments (finance, operations, etc.), ensuring smooth communication and the transmission of reliable information.
  • Participate in continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize project management processes and tools.
  • Prepare draft progress reports and dashboards to support project managers in their communications.

Skills And Qualifications Required

  • DEC (Diploma of College Studies) in administrative techniques, office automation, or a related field.
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in coordination or technical support of projects.
  • Excellent mastery of Salesforce or a similar CRM is essential.
  • Advanced proficiency in office tools, including Google Workspace and Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables).
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and excellent attention to detail.
  • Great autonomy, proactivity, and demonstrated ability to take initiatives.
  • Ability to manage priorities and work effectively in a dynamic and agile environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication in French (functional English is an important asset).
  • Excellent judgment, reliability, and professional attitude.
  • Spoken and written bilingualism (French and English). The person must be able to communicate in English (written and oral) as we have employees outside of Quebec.
