Your role
- Preparing corporate client financial statements (compilations) and tax returns.
- Bookkeeping from client supplied records.
- Preparing payroll and related filings.
- Preparing GST/QST and HST returns.
- Preparation of personal income tax returns.
- Graduate of a College or University accounting or bookkeeping program.
- Bilingual is a requirement.
- Accounting experience with a small to mid-size business or professional firm would be an asset.
- Computer skills including Excel, Simply Accounting and Quickbooks. Experience with Caseware and Corporate Taxprep, would be an asset.
- Sound judgment regarding confidential and sensitive matters.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- Strong understanding of a client-focused environment including related deadlines and the ability to work to meet those deadlines.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
