The Role
Reporting to the Director, New Business, this role will be responsible for ownership of our largest by Customer count segment, over 1,500 clients and multi-million-dollar revenues. The role of the SMB Segment Account Manager draws on a wide range of skills and experience in managing a large cohort of Customers. To support the general management of the segment, there are resources within central teams and tools to assist and build Customer digital experiences.
This leader must have skills to influence at an executive level, the ability to articulate end-to-end platform planning strategy while navigating continuous business changes and priorities. The leader must have experience leading planning in a fast past, growing and service-oriented organization.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Own the revenue and forecast of the segment across North America including our Mining, Engineering and Energy segments
- Design and drive go-to-market strategy and support implementation to grow revenue and market share, by developing deep consumer insights and product expertise to build winning customer experiences
- Build out the Customer lifecycle journey and create custom cohort curriculums based on Customer levels of engagement
- Leverage the appropriate learning strategies, including qualitative and quantitative consumer research and A/B in-market testing to roll-out experiences and creative that deliver improved business outcomes
- Create baseline and truly understand the segments Net Promoter scores and what we can do to improve
- Understand renewals, upsell, cross sell, attrition and prioritize efforts, tools and channels such as e-commerce
- Deliver regular and innovative insights with predictions and trending patterns of the segment
- Lead the adoption and use of modern digital technology and tools to support and automate Sales operations and seller functions where appropriate to improve seller productivity
- Minimum 7 years of digital Customer experiences, revenue ownership and forecasting
- Strategic thinking, ability to holistically review the Customer experience, ability to build and execute a segment plan
- Exceptional ability to influence and energize key stakeholders and complex cross-org and cross-functional teams to create best in class solutions
- Sophisticated understanding of sales and Customer experience performance metrics and KPIs
- Analytical Mindset: the ability to logically analyze data and present relevant business insights and recommendations in a condensed and impactful way
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with sales, marketing and support technologies (Salesforce Lightening, Marketo, Intercom, Qualtrics XM, MS BI, MS PPT)
