As our Welding Estimator/Project Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in driving the success of our fabrication division. This position combines technical estimation with client-facing coordination, offering the chance to work across diverse projects, from custom builds to niche installations. You'll be the go-to expert for pricing, feasibility, and scope.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates based on technical drawings, specifications, and client requirements
• Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and fabricators to clarify project scopes and timelines
• Provide technical insight and support throughout bidding and project execution
• Ensure all estimates align with current CWB standards and pricing models
• Track costs and assist in ongoing job costing and forecasting
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in welding estimation, preferably in custom fabrication or miscellaneous metals
• Valid CWB 47.1 Supervisory Certification (SYS) is required
• Strong knowledge of Canadian Welding Bureau standards and practices
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; CAD software is an asset
• Team-oriented and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously

• Competitive base salary starting at CA$ 70,000 to CA$ 80,000 per year, plus sales and production bonus potential based on performance
