As a Technical Professional, you will make a difference in the way TELUS employees work. You will leverage your technical acumen, creative problem-solving, collaborating and interpersonal skills to take on a broad array of challenges and deliver operational and customer service excellence. You will be key to maintaining data integrity, functionality and enhancements within our SuccessFactors and SAP foot print.

What You’ll Do

Operate as a Trusted Advisor and Technical Expert


  • Lead translating business requests into final delivery of solutions by leveraging our agile project to delivery methodology in SAP SuccessFactors (SF)
  • Ensuring our SAP SF system (Employee Central Time, EC Payroll modules) are configured and according to federal, provincial legislation, collective agreements, internal polices and best practices
  • Support payroll, time, benefits, and organizational management operations in the area of issue and escalation management, that includes reporting, analysis and resolution
  • Provide expertise in setup and configuration for core HR, Time and Payroll data replication, ensuring seamless data integration between systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Time and Payroll modules with other TELUS team member systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process integration.
  • Perform required configuration and functional testing in a variety of instances to support fixes and enhancements (time tracking and time off main focus area)
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to support and deliver various programs for our team members, with a slant towards the team member experience
  • Lead or assist in various projects, system changes and audits.


Provide critical business insights and thought leadership


  • Build strong relationships across the HR community and represent the SAP P&C System at meetings both internally and externally with vendor partners
  • Act as a HRIS subject matter expert and conduct systems analysis including recommendations that drive strategic solutions
  • Prioritize the customer experience above all else
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation to drive improved team member experiences


What You Bring


  • 10+ years of total experience in progressively challenging roles with 5+ years of systems delivery experience in time or payroll modules
  • Experience in SAP SuccessFactors and On-premise ECC system
  • Demonstrated solid communicator and collaborator who can build strong relationships
  • Able to translate complicated asks into clear, easy to understand and doable actions to meet your customers’ requirements
  • Recognized for managing numerous competing priorities and commitments with extremely high attention to details
  • Demonstrate strong initiative and ownership in delivering high-quality results.
  • University degree or college diploma, with a slant towards Human Resources or Systems; project management


Great-to-have


  • SuccessFactors Time and/or Payroll Certification
  • Experience and understanding of how Time and costs work in ECC CATS system and in SuccessFactors system
  • Working experience with S4/HANA and understanding of SAP’s vision and roadmap for Time management
  • Experience working in a remote team environment
  • Able to support change management efforts, including drafting communications, FAQ’s and job aids
  • Working knowledge of Jira, Excel and Google Suite
  • Bilingual in English and French, both written and oral
