This position oversees the pro-active client experience for large complex and strategic Group Retirement Services customers. You will oversee targeted communications, implementations, project management and overall service delivery. This role encompasses a National Service Plan (NSP) to the customer by working in close collaboration with the client’s decision makers.

You will oversee targeted communications, implementations, project management and overall service delivery. This role encompasses a National Service Plan (NSP) to the customer by working in close collaboration with the client’s decision makers.
What You Will Do
- Full accountability of the client relationship including plan design, legislative, governance and investment discussions.
- Creating and maintaining an annual business plan.
- Collaborate with sales to support persistency and execution targets.
- Effectively highlight areas of opportunity and growth and action to capture those.
- Continuously assess the evolving needs of our customers and look for opportunities to cross sell products and services aligned toclients’ needs.
- Provide direct input into communication and education strategies.
- Meets with client/partner teams on a monthly/quarterly basis to monitor service deliverables and assess needs (i.e., governance committee, Client HR team, Finance, communications team, etc.).
- Lead and handle project management, marketing, communication projects, changes to HRIS or other systems
- Participates in head office advisory field committees
- Actively participate in the sales process by contributing to RFP responses, attending short list presentations to describe processesand key services offered
- Is a peer resource for other team members and is involved in their training and development.
- 3+ years of Group Retirement experience
- High level of Group Retirement technical expertise
- CEBS designation is an asset
- Post-secondary education in a related field demonstrating knowledge and understanding of business principles
- Highly skilled in networking and building connections
- A career progression that demonstrates a strong understanding of group retirement customers, products, and processes alongwith success in servicing a large customer base
- Highly adaptable, driven to be your best, and proven initiative
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) demonstrating a polished, professional manner and ability to listen,negotiate and collaborate
- Proficiency with MS Office programs (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Organizational talent showing skill in self-management, prioritization and success meeting tight deadlines and follow though
- Analytical aptitude with strong capacity to make decisions and be innovative in problem solving
- Strong presentation skills & demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with Clients and Consultants
- Ability to work closely with the sales team and the finalist sales presentations
- Comfort working independently and as part of a larger team
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle are necessary due to the travel requirements
