Position: NPI Lab Support Co-op/Intern

Number of Position(s): 2

Duration: 4 Months to 8 Months

Date: Sept - Dec

Location: On-site

EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS

Currently a candidate for a diploma in Computer Systems Technician, or a related field, with an accredited school in Canada.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

As part of the team, you will:

  • Set up and maintain network topologies
  • Build new servers and Virtual Machines using EXSi and Linux KVM hypervisors
  • Maintain and monitor Windows and Linux Operating systems
  • Maintain the lab network infrastructure

Key Skills And Experience

  • Knowledge of basic network subnetting
  • Cider notation
  • IP address/ DNS
  • Clear and concise communication
  • Attention to detail
