Trouw Nutrition is seeking a visionary and results-driven Director of Digital Transformation to lead the digital evolution of our North American Livestock business. This senior leadership role is pivotal in aligning our regional digital strategy with Nutreco’s global vision, driving innovation, and delivering impactful digital solutions across operations, customer experience, and data monetization. As the BU Digital Lead, you will manage the Digital Team, chair the Digital Steering Committee, and serve as a key member of the Global Nutreco Digital Leads Group. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, prioritizing initiatives, and ensuring the successful execution of digital projects that enhance agility, efficiency, and value creation.

About The Role “Shaping Tomorrow: Leading the Future of the Animal Nutrition digital space”

Responsibilities:

• Translate Nutreco’s global digital strategy into actionable plans for North America.
• Lead and mentor the BU NA Digital Team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Oversee the digital project portfolio, ensuring alignment with business goals and measurable outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Innovation, Finance, HR, etc.) to deliver integrated digital solutions.
• Drive the development of digital animal twins and other cutting-edge technologies in partnership with Species Councils.
• Manage the digital roadmap, budget, and benefits tracker, reporting to the Digital SteerCo and Global Digital.
• Champion digital upskilling and citizen development across the organization.
• Build and maintain a robust ecosystem of digital partners and vendors.
  
  

Skills And Expertise

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Digital, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8+ years of experience leading digital transformation in complex, matrixed environments.
• Strong knowledge of digital technologies, low-code/no-code platforms, and hyper-automation.
• Proven ability to lead without direct authority and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Exceptional project management, change management, and communication skills.
• Strategic thinker with a data-driven, analytical mindset.
