Carecor is looking for dedicated Medical Laboratory Assistants to join our amazing team working in hospitals serving the Niagara and surrounding area. We’re ready when you are!
Join our medical administration team and make a direct impact on the delivery of safe, exceptional patient care. Our shifts place you in a variety of work environments such as hospital in-patient care units, outpatient clinics, hospital-based physicians’ offices, and administrative departments. For each assignment, you will be in one facility for a full 8-12hour shift. We are looking to build a pool of candidates for a future opportunity.

- Completion of an accredited Laboratory Assistant program
- Current registration as a Medical Laboratory Assistant with the Ontario Society of Medical Technologists or the Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Science
- Recent clinical experience as a Medical Laboratory Assistant
- Exhibits advanced proficiency in phlebotomy techniques for clients of all age groups
- Strong understanding of Laboratory Information Systems and other Hospital related systems
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate
- Proof of current immunization for tetanus, pertussis, polio, Hep B, measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella (MMRV)
- Proof of negative TB skin test within the past year or negative chest x-ray within the past 5 years
- Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire
