Marshall Canada is seeking a System Administrator to join our team in Moncton, NB. In this role, the successful candidate will provide frontline technical support, contribute to the maintenance and security of our information systems, and assist in the planning and implementation of network enhancements and upgrades.



Your responsibilities in the role:


  • Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and patches to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions.
  • Collaborate effectively with a distributed team to implement IT projects and initiatives.
  • Provide in-person and remote support to end-users, addressing their IT-related queries and concerns.
  • Conduct regular system backups and ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to recommend improvements and innovative solutions.



Apply if you have most of the following:


  • Proven experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft products, including Windows Server and Active Directory.
  • Experience with a remote desktop solution, preferably Citrix.
  • Familiarity with VMWare virtualization.
  • Familiarity with Forcepoint products or similar security solutions.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols and experience with Cisco and Aruba products, including enterprise Wi-Fi.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate in a distributed team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) are an asset.


Must be eligible to meet the requirements of export control regulations, including the Canadian Controlled Goods Program and Canadian government security requirements.
