Context

In order to strengthen the rapid development of LGM in GTA we are looking for a Senior Technical Writer. Your

first project will be related to the railway industry.

Under the supervision of the TECHPUB/ILS Group Manager, your mission will be to produce different types of manuals (maintenance, operation, installation…) and training materials.

Your Main Tasks

• Produce various types of technical publication (maintenance manual, operation manual…) and create training materials.
• Take part in the validation process of technical writings content.
• Be responsible of the information exchange between the teams, maintaining a common look and feel to all documentation produced.
• Participate in technical meetings with the members of the project.
• Mentor junior technical writers.
• Build a relationship of trust and partnership with the client while promoting LGM's expertise.
• Contribute to the improvement of practices and tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (infrastructure, mechanical, electrical, electronic or industrial engineering).
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Technical Publication.
• Personal qualities: proactive, people oriented, communication, leadership, dynamism, organization, efficiency.
• Customer orientation: listening, understanding, clarifying, prescribing appropriate solutions and expertise.
• Experience in developing training materials: a big asset.
• Team spirit, excellent communication skills.
