OpenText Cybersecurity SMB & Consumer solutions help organizations protect their most valuable and sensitive information with products, services, and training. The OpenText Cybersecurity portfolio provides a broad portfolio of data security and data protection solutions that help companies prevent, detect, respond, and recover from the latest cybersecurity threats.

This position is within the Pillr | Webroot business unit of Cybersecurity SMB & Consumer.

This position is hybrid in-office (Tues. Wed & Thurs)

Your Impact

As a key contributor, you'll be instrumental in constructing cutting-edge systems that help guide our customers through challenging cyber risks to ultimately find even greater opportunities. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing DevOps tooling and automation for publicly available cloud-based management systems and private cloud-based security and compliance solutions. You will engage in solving meaningful challenges within a motivated team, gaining exposure to advanced technologies beyond individual access. As a hands-on DevOps engineer, coach, and evangelist, you will influence and guide agile development teams toward automation, shifting left, and increasing release velocity.

As a Senior DevOps Developer, You Will

  • Own and deliver projects aligned with the team's delivery cadence, ensuring work contributes to customer success.
  • Model integrity and excellence, influencing best practices within the team and leveraging expertise.
  • Identify and address issues when the current path does not effectively serve customer needs, collaborating with the manager for corrections.
  • Keep customer value in focus, using input from others to determine appropriate technical solutions and making timely decisions without compromising trust.
  • Decompose customer problems into designs with multiple interacting software components, mastering systems design fluency fundamentals.
  • Serve as a technical lead, recognized for growing domain expertise, embracing change, and navigating ambiguity with resiliency, while fostering the development of less experienced team members.
  • Possess 5-8 years of previous professional experience.

What You Need To Succeed

  • Linux server administration experience
  • Experience with Elasticsearch/Opensearch tooling and large data sets
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, container orchestration
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure services such as Azure and Entra ID
  • Experience with monitoring tooling (Grafana, Prometheus)
  • Hands-on experience provisioning and administering resources in cloud providers such as Azure, and/or through IaC such as Pulumi, Terraform
  • Experience creating, automating, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab, Azure DevOps, Argo, or Jenkins
  • Knowledge of bash, Python, golang, and/or PowerShell
