Our Ideal Candidate
Allnorth is seeking a RFO Central – Application Specialist to join our team either in Calgary or Edmonton. RFO Central is a web application designed to maintain data integrity throughout the project life-cycle by documenting and progressing project completions and turnover. The RFO Central software application is used in many industries including Oil & Gas, Mining, Petrochemical, Commercial Construction and others. In this position, you will become an expert in the implementation of the software for our customers and contractors alike.
As a successful candidate, you will need to have obtained a Technical diploma or relevant trade certificate (instrumentation, power engineering, electrical, millwright). 5+ years of field experience in an industrial setting.

A Day in the Life
- Work with our clients – willingness to do presentations, demos, and training.
- Building relationships with clients – willingness to participate in business development initiatives.
- Time management.
- Responding to emergencies: willingness to accept calls after hours, if required.
- On-site support requirements will be determined on a project-by-project basis by the client.
- Fulltime, permanent position – may require work outside regular office hours.
- Location: Primary location in either Calgary or Edmonton office, with the potential to work remotely when not on-site
- Computer literate.
- Proficiency in database management is an asset but not essential (SQL, Power BI, PowerQuery, etc.) – training will be provided.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, SharePoint, Excel, Access).
- Experience with turnover and completion processes.
- Familiarity with QA/QC processes and procedures.
- General familiarity with plant processes.
- Must be able to read piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), single lines, isometrics, etc.
- Ability to communicate technical information.
- Working-level proficiency in English.
- Problem solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
