Instructional Designer - #445935

MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking an Instructional Designer to work on a 6 month contract for our client, a prominent utility and clean energy company in BC. This is a hybrid position based out of our client's Burnaby office – remote candidates will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

– Design and develop high-quality training materials for SAP using SAP Enable Now, Camtasia, and Articulate RISE.

– Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop appropriate instructional strategies.

– Create interactive and multimedia-rich content to enhance learner engagement and retention.

– Conduct needs assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.

– Maintain and update training materials to ensure they remain current and relevant.

– Provide support and guidance to trainers and facilitators during the delivery of training sessions.

– Utilize best practices in instructional design to ensure the highest quality of training materials.

Qualifications:

– A minimum (4) years of instructional designer support work experience or equivalent (6 years experience if applicant has no bachelor’s degree but does have a certificate/diploma in adult education)

– Proven experience in instructional design, specifically with SAP Enable Now, Camtasia, and Articulate RISE.

– Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.

– Excellent verbal & written communication and collaboration skills.

– Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

– Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Asset:

– Experience in supply chain management, training delivery.

– Utility experience
