As a Principal QA Developer, You Will
- Serve as the domain, process, and technical expert for the QA engineer team, leveraging technologies like Confluence for collaboration.
- Provide technical support to enable effective test design, emphasizing continuous integration and continuous development (CI/CD) practices.
- Champion efforts to design efficient tests for 100% coverage, implement and maintain continuous testing via CI/CD, and ensure requirements add value to customers.
- Drive test efficacy improvements through test tools, automation, and risk-based testing to discover defects early in development cycles.
- Collaborate with the team on project procedures, demonstrating a solid understanding of testing technologies, automation development, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide domain expertise for business needs, engage in cross-department discussions for efficient and high-quality releases, and lead continuous improvement efforts, adopting agile practices and defining quality metrics.

- TSO
- SDSF
- JCL
- Rexx
- Continuous Integration (ideally, Jenkins)
- Python 2 & 3
- Robot Framework
- Make
- FTP and SCP
- Source change management systems (ideally, git)
- Bug tracking systems (ideally, Bugzilla)
- z/OS Operator commands and JES2 commands
- RACF commands / administration
- General systems programming including IPLs
- Dump reading
- SMP/E
- IBM Utilities
- DASD management
- Assembler, C
- CICS
- OMVS (USS)
- Db2 and HPU
- Experience in an Agile / Scrum team environment
- Encryption / cryptography background helpful
