Overview

Corner Brook Pulp and Paper is currently seeking applications from Heavy Equipment Operators. Please note this is an open pool application and will remain open. We are seeking applicants for current and future vacancies in our Woodlands Operations.

We are seeking candidates who can work independently and in a team environment, are self-motivated with a strong work ethic, and looking for a challenge in a fast-paced industry.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class 08 license
  • Heavy Equipment Operator diploma from a recognized college or training academy preferred
  • 2 years’ experience operating heavy equipment
  • Experience operating production equipment such as harvesters, forwarders, or feller bunchers preferred
  • A proven safety track record and clean drivers abstract
  • Valid WHMIS certification
  • Emergency First Aid
  • Candidates must be available to work shifts from Monday to Friday, rotating between day shifts and night shifts on a weekly basis
  • Work locations vary based on harvesting locations
