Job Description

Materials Cycle Counter

The Materials Cycle Counter position is responsible for assisting buyers, planners, and material handling with material flow systems, with focus on continuous improvement within the supply.

Powering Vehicles, Motion, Work, and Lives since 1966.

Performance Expectations

  • Assist with the execution of physical inventory, perform location auditing and reporting.
  • Perform cycle counts and inventory verification in a multi warehouse setting.
  • Evaluate WIP and raw counts and perform root cause analysis.
  • Perform backup function in absence of Planner as needed.
  • Perform various inventory control assignments.
  • Complete shipping and receiving functions in IFS.
  • Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements in the facility’s geographic location
  • ISO 14001: Environmental Management system standard.
  • ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety.

Credentials

  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of general education and work experience.
  • Possess computer skills including excel spreadsheets, Outlook email, MRP etc.
  • Able to read and understand engineering drawings for the purpose of material identification.
  • Determine material status of transfers, receiving work in process and back-flushing.
  • Understanding bill of materials and “where used” analysis.
  • Ability to comprehend production schedules and work in process.
