BOXX Modular (Canada), a business of Black Diamond Group, rents, leases and sells temporary and permanent modular buildings, including standard buildings ready for immediate delivery and custom-designed solutions. We work with our customers to design and deliver customized solutions, and provide additional services such as delivery and installation, furniture rentals and other add-ons.

Black Diamond is seeking a Fleet Administrator to join our Edmonton Branch Office.

This is a fulltime, in office role.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Fleet Administrator will be responsible for coordinating servicing and maintenance with external vendors, managing our fleet inventory, and performing inspections, among other duties. This role will require administrative work inside, as well as inspection work outdoors in all weather. Our fleet assets include rentable and leasable relocatable modular structures.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and customer service skills, with experience in managing inventory and coordinating logistics for asset movement.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Coordinating the servicing and maintenance of the fleet;
  • Working with vendors and subcontracts as required to ensure the service of the unit is complete;
  • Issuing POs for associated service work on the units;
  • Preparing in/out sheets to record the transactions;
  • Material ordering for service activities;
  • Monthly material inventory counts and reconciliations;
  • Tracking and depleting materials inventory;
  • Completing the in and out inspections of the units
  • Maintaining the transportation and transportation calendar of all units leaving or returning to the

branch;

  • Monitoring daily fleet activity;
  • Maintaining and organizing unit files;
  • Monthly, quarterly and annual fleet count;
  • Other duties as required.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education preferred but not required;
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office, and attention to detail;
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Experience in lease fleet management or administration a strong asset;
  • Ability to work in both inside (70%) and outside (30%) environments;
  • SAP or ERP system experience preferred, not required;
  • Must be fluent in English both oral and written.
