What Is the Opportunity?

Acts as the primary point of accountability for Cybersecurity to business partners within assigned area. Supports and maintains vulnerability management within applications to ensure the integrity of company information and resources. Supports the investigation, identification, and resolution of Cybersecurity events/breaches. Interfaces with internal and external entities to ensure adherence to Cybersecurity procedures and policies.

What Will You Do?

  • Provide operational support, reporting, guidance, advisory, and maintenance of Security related processes, controls or products.
  • Independently analyze and resolve vulnerabilities of low, medium, and high complexity.
  • Review, test, document, report, and implement new or upgrades to security processes, controls or products as directed.
  • Independently implement changes to area cybersecurity procedures with management review as directed.
  • Support reviewing or identifying security vulnerabilities, incidents, events and escalating to management.
  • Participate in Security and enterprise projects as assigned.
  • Act as a security representative at security vulnerabilities, code design and new technology meetings.
  • Manage the creations/monitoring of security risk exceptions/acceptances.
  • Consult with business peers to support and resolve cybersecurity events.
  • Provide guidance to more junior employees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline.
  • Five years of relevant working experience with Cybersecurity practices, processes, and Cybersecurity event investigation/resolution preferred, as well as experience in managing and reporting on Vulnerability Management in Opensource, Vendor based Applications, In-house Applications Infrastructure, On Prem Servers, Cloud, and Devices.
  • Experience providing high-level administrative support with a comprehensive knowledge of specific IS Security methodologies, processes and software packages and a conceptual understanding of other IS Security procedures and policies preferred.

  • Leadership:
  • Provides reports and supports to multiple LOB Application Development team including Production Operations.
  • Responsibilities are assigned with some latitude for setting priorities and decision-making using established policies and procedures.
  • Results are reviewed with next-level manager for clarification and direction before proceeding.
  • Planning and Project Management:
  • Works with Senior Management on different Cyber Enterprise initiatives identifying those project tasks that are most important, establishes clear priorities and understands the larger picture.
  • Anticipates and effectively responds to changes in workload and resources.

What is a Must Have?

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years of experience within Computer Science or a related field.
