You As a Copywriter You Will

• Collaborate with C-Suite and senior leadership to craft speeches for conferences, speaking engagements, and presentations.
• Write, review, and edit content for various digital platforms, including the company's website, marketing collateral, intranet, social media, newsletters, and internal communications.
• Develop compelling copy for external and internal materials, such as brochures, advertisements, website content, presentations, video scripts, and speeches.
• Capture impactful stories and insights, translating them into engaging content for internal and external audiences across multiple platforms.
• Work closely with service departments and area offices to create case studies and thought leadership content.
• Research and investigate industry trends and company initiatives to curate relevant content tailored to various audiences.
• Proofread and copy-edit content for clarity, accuracy, and compliance with corporate brand standards, ensuring consistency in style, grammar, and tone.
• Uphold EllisDon’s brand voice across all written materials, reinforcing a unified messaging strategy.
• Develop and maintain a centralized content repository, ensuring accessibility, consistency, and regular updates.
• Apply SEO best practices to web content, optimizing visibility and engagement across digital platforms.
• Track content performance through analytics, using insights to refine messaging and improve engagement.
• Partner with designers, videographers, and multimedia teams to develop cohesive storytelling across various formats.
  
  

Is this the right role for you?

• You have three to five years of professional writing experience.
• You have a degree or diploma in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• You have exceptional writing, proofreading, research, and interview skills.
• You have a strong creative writing ability and can develop engaging, persuasive, and brand-aligned copy for a variety of platforms.
• You’re able to write crafting compelling content for branding, digital marketing, and corporate communications.
• You have exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, including the efficient scheduling, coordination, and execution of complex writing projects under challenging timelines.
• You are well-versed with Microsoft Office.
