Job Description

Our Opportunity: Rainbow Greenhouse supplies Annuals to Home Depots in Western Canada. We are seeking highly motivated and hard-working individuals to merchandise our product.

Job Summary: Merchandisers are responsible for the care and presentation of the annuals in the Home Depots and restocking product. Successful merchandisers work hard, know that details matter, follow directions easily and completely, and are self-motivated. Merchandisers are responsible for the visual display and integrity of our products as well as pricing and inventory management.

Shifts are spent outside in the Garden Centre – rain or shine and in the early season sometimes snow!

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Physical work- able to lift 50lbs
• Ability to push/pull and reach - repetitive movements
• Unloading carts of product onto tables and/or carts
• Pricing appropriately if required
• Reporting inventory needs to supervisors
• Merchandise displays according to Rainbow merchandising standards
• Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time walking 20,000 plus steps a shift
• Self-driven, prioritize time and duties
• High energy level
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and with a team
  
  

Qualifications And Requirements

• Smart phone with data required, regular usage (email/phone/photos, Apps)
• Personal and reliable vehicle preferred but not required
• CSA steel toed shoes required for duration of shift.
  
  

Preferred Skills

Excellent people skills, adaptability, self-directed, organizational skills, problem solving, physically capable of manual labor.
