Position Summary
The Associate Product Manager will support product business plans, marketing plans and market introductions for the Canadian business. This Associate Product Manager will have accountability for supporting, managing, and implementing strategic plans for Rebates and Sampling programs.
This role includes crafting product messaging, conducting market research, coordinating tradeshow planning and sponsorship negotiations to boost brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to all aspects of Marketing messaging in Canada for internal and extremal stakeholders. Create and manage multimedia assets (images, infographics, animations).
- Oversee trade shows planning, collaborating with ProfEd and Sales teams to coordinate booth and congress activities. Work closely with vendors and Optometry associations. Attend industry conferences and professional events to network with stakeholders.
- Lead Rebates and Trial programs. Includes forecasting spend and overall management of both programs. Lean into program improvements leveraging business insights and working collaboratively with vendor partners and finance teams during planning process. Analyze the effectiveness of rebates through sales data and customer feedback.
- Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives by utilizing analytics tools to track engagement and conversion metrics, and continuously adjust strategies and tactics based on performance insights.
- Adhere to industry-leading Health Care Compliance standards including Copy Clearance process to ensure marketing material is compliantly distributed across all internal and external business partners.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in marketing or a related field.
- Ability to translate analytical findings into clear, actionable reports and presentations tailored to diverse audiences, facilitating data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Life Sciences or Consumer Medical Device experience is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional and senior management to impact decision-making.
- Adept at building effective relationships across internal and external partners, collaboration and experience in building strong communication.
- Up to 30% business travel may be required.
