Jardeg is recruiting for Gas Fitters for upcoming work at Woodland Constructors Ltd. to build the expansion of Yellowhead Power Station near North Batttleford, SK.

As a Journeyperson Gas Fitter You Will

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine layout requirements;
• Measure, cut, and thread pipe using hand and power tools;
• Assist welders with prepping, and aligning concrete lined, Carbon steel and stainless steel pipe joints
• Layout and install supports, valves, piping and control systems;
• Test system for leaks using testing equipment;
• Rig and place pipe spools using hand rigging equipment, zoom boom and crane.
• Involved in working with power tools and heavy equipment.
  
  

Requirements

• CSTS 2020 or SCOT
• Fall Protection (OSSA Preferred)
• General Gas Fitter Level 1 Ticket
• Must be able to clear a pre-access Drug and Alcohol Test
• Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada
• Satisfactory completion of Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
