We want you to bring your exceptional skills and experience with you and join our team as a Specialist, Desktop Support! In this role you will be handling all requests for provisioning and shipping new IT equipment for the organization, including hardware needed for newly acquired locations. In addition, this role will also provide deskside support as required.
We are ideally seeking a candidate located in Delta, BC. Our Home Office is located in Delta, BC.

The expected compensation for this position is between $55,300 , to $60,000 annually considering factors like experience, skills, and qualifications. What Will You Be Doing?
- Installing, maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting end user and network hardware, peripheral devices, presentation equipment, software, and other products
- Receiving and responding to incoming calls, emails, and/or work orders from IT Service Desk regarding reported hardware issues
- Directly supporting the IT Service Desk, by taking emails and calls from end-users for general IT support
- Performing on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop issues for end users, and implement corrective solutions, including off-site repair
- Assisting the Merger & Acquisition IT Implementation team in hardware deployment, procurement of new equipment, and assets for acquisitions
- Procuring and configuring IT assets to support acquisition deadlines. (Computers, Peripherals, iPads, and other ad-hoc devices)
- Administering and resolving issues with associated end-user workstation network software products, when required
- Liaising with third-party support and PC equipment vendors, when necessary
- 1-3 years experience in a similar role in an IT department
- Post-secondary education in and IT related field combined with ITIL and/or Comp TIA A+ certification
- Experience with IT service management (ITSM) systems
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of IT tools, (Windows 7-10 operating system, active directory, remote desktop, Office 365, ZOOM, Google Chrome (web applications), FortiClient VPN
- Strong analytics and problem solving skills
- Exceptional customer service skills, time management and triaging skills
- ITIL Foundations Certification (v3 or v4) or ComTIA IT Fundamentals, A+, etc certification considered an asset
- Bilingualism (French/English) is considered an asset
