Commercial Real Estate Associate Essential Functions

Our Commercial Real Estate Group is currently seeking an associate to join its highly regarded team. This group acts for a broad range of clients on acquisitions and dispositions, urban, rural and resort development (including entitlements and marketing), infrastructure projects, real estate investment transactions and joint venture formations, financings, leasing, and public-private partnerships.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be qualified to practice law in British Columbia or another common law Canadian province or territory, be prepared to become called in British Columbia and have the following credentials:

• Between 3-6 years of dedicated commercial real estate transactions and development experience;
• Strong academic credentials; and
• Strong analytical, communication and drafting skills.
  
  

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills as part of a highly successful practice and a growing office and will receive advanced training, mentoring and significant client exposure. This is the ideal position for someone who demonstrates strong initiative, has excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills and is a consummate team player. The salary range for this position is $145,000 to $205,000 or higher, depending on experience and qualifications.
