RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).
Position Summary
Department / Research Program: CHHD – Child Health and Human Development
The MyeliNeuroGene Research Laboratory, directed by Dr. Geneviève Bernard, MD, MSc, a clinician-scientist, is looking for a motivated person to fill the position of full-time Project Manager. The team specializes in rare, genetic white matter diseases, leukodystrophies, and related disorders. Under the direction of the principal investigator, The incumbent will lead a translational platform overseeing the development of mouse and iPSC preclinical models and the testing of therapeutics including ASOs and LNP-mediated RNA replacement therapies. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring research progress stays on track with D2R grant milestones and will supervise all projects related to this grant. The incumbent must also be involved in the coordination of this work by different collaborators and multidisciplinary teams. The candidate is expected to contribute to student supervision and training as well as grant writing.

Education: Doctorate Degree
Field of Study: Biomedical Sciences, Neuroscience, Molecular Genetics
Work Experience: minimum of 2 years of work experience in project management

Required Skills
Status: Temporary, full time (35-hour workweek)
Pay Scale: Commensurate with education and experience. $54,327.00 - $100,882.60.
Work Shift: 9h00-17h00
Work Site: Glen (with possibility of occasional remote work)
