In the role of Project Manager, you'll be the primary point-person responsible for planning, executing, and driving the delivery of projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality specifications. To achieve these important goals, the Project Manager will facilitate the gathering of project requirements and scope along with identifying, leading and holding the project team members accountable to execute on their tasks and resolve issues as they arise. Efficient delivery of project deliverables, corrective action, when necessary, clear communication of expectations to stakeholders and project team members, and upward reporting to senior management are critical functions that must be performed seamlessly by the Project Manager.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner closely with the Executive Business Sponsor and the Executive Project Sponsor and all project stakeholders to understand what the project scope is, what the critical success factors are and what business outcomes are expected that will bring value and benefits to the organization.
  • Manage project activities throughout the lifecycle, including the allocation of adequate resources, scheduling, budgeting, documentation and other factors necessary to ensure successful completion of the Project. Additionally, plan and baseline all project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and work packages using the appropriate software tools and/or PM methods.
  • Identify changes to plans that are likely to affect milestones including deliverables, risks and schedule of work and if required, work out a business case by conducting cost-benefit/risk analyses.
  • Track all actual project costs to confirm adherence to the original budget. Simultaneously forecast future expenditures and ensure that variance from the original budget is within acceptable range.
  • Provide project related guidance and work direction to support internal project resources.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in Project Management, leading complex or challenging initiatives.
  • Extensive experience in running projects effectively, on-time, within budget and to the stakeholders’ satisfaction.
  • Experience overseeing Information Technology projects is required.
  • Experience in a Financial Services organization is preferred.
  • Experience overseeing Cyber Security projects is an asset.
  • Project Management Institute certification (CAPM or PMP) or equivalent project management certification is an asset.
  • Superior interpersonal skills with ability to quickly build effective working relationships and manage conflict.
  • Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with business partners at different levels of the organization.
  • Highly effective influencing, negotiation and collaboration skills with the ability to work across multiple functional and technical teams.

  • Prospera offers a total compensation package of base salary plus incentives that is market competitive and reviewed annually. Our expected starting salary for this role is $101,250 to $112,500 based on the successful candidate’s knowledge, experience and internal equity.
