YOUR IMPACT

The Sr. NOC Administrator will be responsible for operational maintenance, and support of various technologies and products. As a Sr. NOC Administrator, you are expected to be an SME and an escalation point to team members as well as external members of the OpenText enterprise. You will have extensive knowledge and expertise in SaaS Applications and AWS/GSP/Azure, understand how the infrastructure behind them works, and create exceptional experience outcomes for internal and external customers. You can expect to continually learn at Open Text, developing new skills from various experiences.

The Ops Center role is a crucial part of our organization and is at an exciting time for Open Text as we seek to scale and optimize our internal and external processes, transforming and delivering a customer experience that delights across all touch points.

What The Role Offers

  • Apply problem-solving and structural thinking skills to solve ambiguous business issues or challenges, sometimes with limited information. Simplify complexity and help lead others to develop the same process of thinking.
  • A natural collaborator, working with other engineering and design teams to consistently deliver great end-to-end customer experiences across stages, channels, and other touchpoints in the customer journey.
  • Evaluate systems components, systems software, networking infrastructure, and hardware peripherals for availability, reliability, and performance.
  • Acknowledgement that the pace of change is driven by external factors, we need to ensure that we can constantly adjust to meet external drivers for an improved and updated customer experience working to delight not only external but internal customers.

What You Need To Succeed

  • You are endlessly curious and love delving into the nitty-gritty of a problem. You have a thirst for finding simple solutions to complex problems. You work collaboratively across teams and internal clients to ideate best-in-class experiences and to bring them to life, ensuring that results are tangible and measurable.
  • 5+ years of related experience and/or equivalent technical degree experience and training are preferred.
  • Working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and high-energy environment, you thrive in knowing that you are making a material impact on the growth and direction of the company and on the experience of our customers.
  • We’re looking for someone who has a start-up mentality, who is excited to move fast, innovate and challenge assumptions.
  • The successful candidate will have a good balance of head-in-the-clouds and feet-on-the-ground pragmatic, focused on a simplification approach, and who can lead by example.
  • Someone who approaches problems with curiosity for a best practice solution, leveraging market best practice views for standardization.
  • Proven experience in technical support in delivering innovative solutions able to collaborate with business leaders in building and running sustainable systems, which can evolve and adapt to changes in a global business environment.
  • Energy, focus, assertiveness, and diplomacy: Knowing when to push an agenda and when to let a situation develop, rest, or advance.
  • Highly developed communication skills: Ability and comfort with working at executive levels.
  • Must be willing to work any shift in a 24/7/365 work environment, some Holiday and weekend work is required.
