K-12/ESL Instructor:
- Familiar with English teaching of the BC curriculum and the BC ELL program.
- Proficient in English reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
- Excellent communication skills appropriate/relevant to the test type and students.
- Understand and be familiar with the topics by analyzing the SSAT/SAT/AP English past papers.
- Tutor-tailored SSAT/SAT/AP English courses based on the student's level and needs.
- Develop SSAT/SAT/AP English Prep Materials if needed.
- Understanding English literature in elementary and secondary school is preferred.
- Instruct students on interpreting literature and assign books to read.
- Teach students about the structure and content of the English language, including proper grammar, spelling, and sentence structure.
- Provide constructive feedback and suggestions on student essays/assignments/writing.
- Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field (Education, English, etc.) with relevant education experience.
- Proficient in English reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students of diverse backgrounds.
- Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning experience.
- Ability to adapt tutoring strategies to meet individual learning styles and needs.
- Previous tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience is a plus.
- Ease of Commute: Ability to commute to our institution on a daily basis.
- Experience: Ideally, 2-3 years of teaching experience.
- Teaching Certification: Possession of a Teaching Certificate of Qualification in British Columbia is preferred.
K-12 Math Instructor:
- Familiar with the local mathematics teaching of local elementary and secondary schools, the SAT. Mathematics, SSAT Mathematics (familiar with two or more is preferred).
- Familiar with the BC curriculum, Math, and math competitions.
- Familiar with the North American education system.
- Proficiency in using the online platform for teaching.
- Excellent communication skills appropriate/relevant to the test type and students.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Understand and be familiar with the topics by analyzing the AP past papers.
- Tutor-tailored AP courses based on the student's level and needs.
- Develop AP Prep Materials if needed.
- Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field (Math, Education, etc.) with relevant education experience.
- Proficient in English reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students of diverse backgrounds.
- Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning experience.
- Ability to adapt tutoring strategies to meet individual learning styles and needs.

- Full-time: At least 30 hours per week.

- Group Coverage (Full-time teacher only).
- Regular Gatherings: regular events and activities to foster team camaraderie and enjoyment.
- On-call basis.
- Teaching from Monday to Friday during after-school and evening hours.
- Weekend availability for teaching.
- Teaching schedule adjustments might occur during school holidays.
