Position Summary...This role champions associate engagement, drives HR processes, ensures compliance, and supports leadership in enhancing workforce capabilities within the store.

What you'll do...This role champions associate engagement and retention programs by coordinating surveys, analyzing results, and executing action plans to drive higher engagement. The role may support in executing Grass Roots meetings and addressing issues as necessary. Additionally, this role actively participates in the onboarding process for new team members, monitors performance reviews, and ensures compliance with HR policies and employment laws. In this role, driving HR process and compliance is key. This includes managing HR policies, programs, and processes efficiently. The role may act as a subject matter expert, staying abreast of current legislation, HR trends, and best practices. This role also leads compliance audits and W Visit processes, ensuring gaps affecting associate and customer experience are closed and teaching program capabilities during audits. Providing HR leadership in collaboration with relevant teams, this role implements new corporate HR programs, shares best practices, and consults on labor relations issues and serious disciplinary concerns. The role may also involve coaching and guiding operations management on HR compliance and processes. Furthermore, this role identifies and develops in-store talent, partners with management to create succession plans, and participates actively in the recruitment process, ensuring compliance with job postings and promotion processes. Enhancing learning and development through the IDP process and tailored training within the store, this role ensures management compliance with legal requirements. The role may drive diversity by removing barriers and advocating for all associates, providing performance feedback, and supporting change management. Additionally, this role manages wage budgets through headcount management and conducts high-volume, complex workplace investigations, making recommendations on findings and disciplinary actions.
