Neighbourly Pharmacy is currently hiring a full-time Pharmacist to join our team at Neighbourly BC Central Fill Solutions in Burnaby, BC.
This role requires availability on weekdays - including evening shifts until 9:00 PM - and Saturdays 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, the Pharmacist will play a key role in supporting central fill operations by ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient preparation of medications. This role focuses on operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance. The Pharmacist will contribute to continuous improvement by implementing best practices, optimizing workflow efficiencies, and staying aligned with evolving standards in pharmacy automation and healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, the Pharmacist will play a key role in supporting central fill operations by ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient preparation of medications. This role focuses on operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance. The Pharmacist will contribute to continuous improvement by implementing best practices, optimizing workflow efficiencies, and staying aligned with evolving standards in pharmacy automation and healthcare delivery.
- Oversee day-to-day central fill operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards
- Provide clinical and operational support to pharmacy staff and collaborate closely with pharmacies, clinics, and healthcare professionals
- Ensure safe and compliant handling of non-sterile compounds (hazardous and non-hazardous), following established procedures and documentation requirements
- Develop and maintain master formulations, risk assessments, SOPs, and stability data in line with quality assurance standards
- Maintain clear and effective communication with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues and support seamless patient care
- Identify and address workflow challenges and discrepancies while contributing to ongoing process enhancements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service delivery
- Other duties as required
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail
- Self-sufficient and able to work autonomously
- Collaborative team player with a positive attitude
- Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
- Experience in non-sterile hazardous and non-hazardous compounding is strongly preferred
- Injection certification is required
- OAT certification is an asset
