Senior Technical Consultant - ServiceNow (STC) has advanced knowledge and experience in designing and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow Platform. The STC will define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain software applications in support of the achievement of the business requirements. The role demands strong analytical skills and high research, design, documentation, and software modification capabilities throughout the production life cycle.

STCs are also proactive providing mentoring and supporting fellow team members and perform with a high autonomy level. Due to theirs outstanding asset of skills and high level of decision making, Seniors Developers usually act as a Project Team Leads.

What you'll do

  • Lead all important project processes such as: platform architecture documentation, integration documentation, work-effort estimation and hands-on sophisticated development.
  • Attend, participate, and occasionally lead Scrum meetings.
  • Translate requirements/stories and mock-ups into fully functional features by working closely with the implementation project team.
  • Fulfill Project´s technical development and configuration at the highest standard of technical quality contributing with assignments, follow up and guidance to Junior / Mid developers.
  • Fulfill technical design guidance within our projects following ServiceNow standard processes.
  • Ensure Project Lead receives timely updates on work you're doing to facilitate frequent and proactive customer communication.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Delivery Services processes as well as the maturing of the different portfolios, capabilities, expertise and standard processes in consideration of Customer needs and requirements.
  • Fill technical or process roles in our projects, if needed.
  • Lead, educate, and mentor colleagues who are assigned to their projects.
  • Assist in the scoping of new opportunities, design tools and techniques to deliver efficiently.
  • Act as the final point of contact for technical decision-making within a project.
  • Partnership with HR to deliver technical interviews and support the recruitment process

What you bring to the role

  • Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology, along with proven experience in technical consulting roles
  • Post-graduate in Software related topics is desired
  • 3+ years working on the ServiceNow platform.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist for ITSM (CIS-ITSM)
  • Experience in two additional product lines outside of ITSM
  • Knowledge of ITIL; Foundation-level preferred
  • +3 years in General Consulting, Service Management, Software Development
  • +3 years of platform configuration experience
  • JavaScript, html, CSS and JavaScript frameworks, Integrations
