We are currently recruiting for a SCM Advisor to join our team in Calgary, AB. Reporting to the Team Lead, Supply Chain Management, you will lead and facilitate supply chain related accountabilities for assigned business functions.

The Role
We are currently recruiting for a SCM Advisor to join our team in Calgary, AB. Reporting to the Team Lead, Supply Chain Management, you will lead and facilitate supply chain related accountabilities for assigned business functions.
How You Will Contribute
- Lead and facilitate full-cycle Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes for service and material requirements with a focus on Upstream Oil & Gas Services
- Facilitate commercial negotiations with suppliers to deliver on assigned scope specific strategies.
- Consult and seek approval with internal stakeholders to determine the appropriate objectives and key results for the respective categories of work
- Lead commercial contract development and supplier management activities, while ensuring agreements are developed in accordance with PECL’s contracting policies
- Identify and support continuous improvement of sourcing and contracting processes with SCM team members
- Maintain and communicate market analysis of key services and materials aligned with company demand planning requirements
- Support deriving and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for appropriate categories of services/goods
- Leverage available software and publicly accessible resources to achieve best value for PECL
- Post-secondary degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Commerce.
- 5+ years’ Oil and Gas industry experience with a focus on upstream operations (Construction, Facilities and Production Operations).
- Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) certification is considered an asset
- Experience and knowledge of upstream suppliers and contractors with a key focus on those supporting the NE British Columbia region
- Superior knowledge of tendering and contracting procedures and practices within the Supply Chain Management field
- Demonstrated success aligned to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), as well as Indigenous and local engagement requirements.
- Previous experience utilizing Enterprise Software (i.e. GEP SMART/SAP/Enverus) and highly proficient in MS Office applications
