Senior Project Manager - Building Automation Systems - #439876

Summary

Do you have experience with the design, implementation and operation of Building Management Systems within healthcare settings? If so, join our New St. Paul’s Hospital Project Team as a Senior Project Manager – Building Automation Systems.

Here’s What You’ll Do:

• Assist the Technical Team with the coordination and oversight of Building Automation (Div 25) and associated Mechanical and Commissioning deliverables
• Leading the BMS design and implementation
• Directing Compliance Consultant work, as well as providing input and guidance to the project team
• Meeting with various Operational Support parties, such as Facilities Maintenance & Operations (FMO)

Here's What You’ll Need:

• Comprehensive understanding and experience with design, implementation and operation of Building Management Systems in healthcare including AFDDR (Automated Fault Detection, Diagnosis and Reporting) software applications is required
• Strong understanding of mechanical design for healthcare is required
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications (including Excel and Word), functional knowledge of live presentation and notation software is required
• Experience with SMART Commissioning methodology and reporting implementation, and CSA Z8001 Commissioning Framework would be assets

Please note: this is a temporary part-time position (0.80 FTE).

What You Bring

Education

• A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Business, Engineering or Trades Qualification supplemented by formal training such as a Building Construction Technology Certificate, or relevant discipline with a minimum of ten (10) years' recent, related experience in project management, supervision, and facilitating and managing consultation processes with a wide range of stakeholder groups.
• Project Management Professional Designation considered an asset.
• Experience or working knowledge of quality improvement methodology and change management is key to the success of this role.

• Demonstrated computer literacy with relevant software, spreadsheet, project management and database applications.
• Ability to operate related equipment including applicable software applications.
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the job.
