Park Paving Ltd. is a well-established, locally owned and operated company with 50 years of experience in the road construction and construction materials industry. We are currently seeking a dedicated Technical Sales Specialist to join our growing team. This position is essential for driving material sales and providing technical expertise to our clients in the construction and paving sectors in the Edmonton and surrounding areas.
This role will focus on providing diligent customer service while driving revenue and customer growth for our construction materials (e.g. new and recycled aggregates, ready mix concrete, asphalt, and soil cement).

This role will focus on providing diligent customer service while driving revenue and customer growth for our construction materials (e.g. new and recycled aggregates, ready mix concrete, asphalt, and soil cement).
Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Working with the sales team and business line management to create a sales strategy for each product and market segment.
- Driving sales growth for all construction products made by Park Paving Ltd., to meet monthly and annual sales targets for volume and price.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborating with the engineering, quality control, operations, and logistics teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Providing timely and accurate estimates, quotations, and proposals.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and competitor products and providing real time market intelligence with timely bid follow up and tracking.
- Participating in trade shows and industry events to promote our products and services.
Requirements
- 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in the construction materials, or civil construction industry
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or relevant field would be considered an asset
- Proven experience in technical sales or similar role in the construction or related industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to develop and implement sales strategies based on analysis of current market trends and activities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and CRM software
