As a Senior Accountant, Assurance [Audit] your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with colleagues to deliver exceptional service to clients under varying reporting frameworks across different industries and sectors
- Planning, preparation and execution of financial statements with appropriate note disclosures
- Planning, preparing and executing financial statement audits, including budget and resource requirements
- Planning and executing fieldwork assignments including budget and resource needs
- Contributing to the building of our reputation as the preferred business advisors in key sectors of our growing practice
- Supervising, coaching and providing timely feedback to junior engagement team members on diverse engagements
- Other duties as required

- Completed post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
- CPA accreditation or approaching completion
- Minimum 2 years of public practice audit experience
- Strong technical expertise in audit and accounting
- Strong focus on exceptional client service and relationships
- Strong planning and time management skills
- Proven problem solver with solid analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions
- Ability to successfully work independently and as part of a team
- Experience mentoring and coaching junior team members considered an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with MS Office suite and Accounting software applications, with ability to quickly grasp new technology tools
