We’re seeking a Dispatcher to support daily transportation operations at our facility. In this role, you’ll be responsible for scheduling and dispatching vehicles, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries, and communicating effectively with drivers and carriers. You’ll play a vital part in keeping our freight moving smoothly and efficiently.


Location: Winnipeg

Shift: Thursday to Sunday - 6:00 PM – 4:30 AM


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare daily dispatch schedules to meet customer delivery deadlines
  • Assign drivers and equipment to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency
  • Utilize dynamic routing systems to plan outbound routes effectively
  • Create and maintain accurate inbound and outbound order information in the dispatch system
  • Monitor driver hours to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and prevent service violations
  • Adjust delivery and backhaul plans in response to delays, breakdowns, or other disruptions
  • Maintain strong communication with carriers, drivers, and internal teams to resolve issues quickly


What You'll Need:

  • 1- 2 years experience in dispatching, transportation, or logistics
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Familiarity with dispatching software and routing systems is a plus
