Your primary responsibilities will include:
Our Corporate Finance team is looking for an Associate to initially co-coordinate and perform financial due diligence, as well as perform buy and sell side advisory services. In addition, candidates will be expected to work as part of the full-service Baker Tilly diligence team, liaising and building relationships with multiple different stakeholders on an agreed scope of work. This includes developing an understanding of targeted businesses and their drivers and interpreting and analyzing information memoranda, business plans and publicly available information. Candidates will also prepare quality of earnings assessments and report potential key issues for our clients including identification of risks or price affecting valuation and integration considerations.

- 2+ years of professional services work experience required;
- Completed undergraduate degree with outstanding academic credentials. CPA, CBV, or CFA designation or in progress is considered an asset;
- Enjoys problem-solving through numbers and analysis and building relationships with team and clients;
- A strong commitment to teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work;
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills with excellent attention to detail and can be adaptive to unstructured projects and timelines.
