QA Analyst - #439691

On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is looking for a QA Software Tester to participate in daily software testing of cloud-based applications. Monitor workflow in Azure DevOps to test new deployments as they're completed. Work in a Scrum team of 5–6 professionals within 2-week sprint cycles to ensure high-quality, user-ready releases.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in daily software testing to improve the organzation’s cloud based commercially available software: AgExpert Field and AgExpert Accounting.

• Monitoring workflow on the Azure Dev Ops board such that as Developers finish deploying a specific piece of work, you begin testing it to get it ready for our users.

• The consultant will be working in a Scrum environment with 2-week sprints along side a team of 5-6 other professionals.

Qualifications:

Requiered Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in the field with exposure to the following for some or all that time

• Manually testing web applications

• Manually testing iOS applications

• Manually testing Android applications

• Clearly verbally communicating and documenting how to repeat bugs

• Clearly documenting regressive test cases

Required Skills:

• Ability to clearly document and communicate how to repeat bugs so that anyone on the team can easily reproduce

• Ability to clearly document regressive test cases so that anyone on the team can easily repeat the test

• Ability to examine requirements and create test scenarios that thoroughly exercise the software

Nice to have:

• Understanding of basic relational database design

• Experience with automated UI testing using Cypress (web applications)

• Experience working in a Scrum environment

• Experience using Microsoft Dev Ops to track work
