A career as a Senior Trading Support Analyst in the Financial Market Operations team at National Bank, means you’ll be an OTC operations specialist. With your knowledge of the OTC products, your will to contribute to the transformation of the sector and your knowledge and passion of the financial markets, you’ll have a positive impact on the growth and profitability of the bank.


Your role



  • Support the OTC traders and marketers for the Equity derivatives, Structured Notes and Financial products businesses

  • Ensure a proper representation of OTC transactions in our different systems

  • Contribute to the integration of new products and other regulatory requirements and/or technologies in our activities

  • Coordinate and validate transaction settlements by collaborating with our partners

  • Participate in test analysis to ensure an efficient delivery of the different projects

  • Develop and produce multiple reports for different partners

  • Update and optimize our current procedures in place


Your team


As part of the Equity derivatives and Structured products team, you’ll be part of a team of 16 colleagues. Our team stands out for expertise in OTC products, by our active and passionate employees and by our collaboration to the profitability of the financial markets.


You will be on the front line to support our traders, offering them quality support by constantly bringing new ideas, by automating existing procedures and suggesting new training methods in your team. You will be the guardian, with your team, of our processes that are constantly evolving with new business opportunities and major initiatives.

Prerequisites



  • Completed bachelor's degree related to the industry, or any relevant experience OR any other combination of education and experience considered equivalent

  • Experience in Financial Market Operations

  • Knowledge of different systems (Murex, Swift, ISM, Bloomberg or Reuters)

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft and Excel software (VBA, Macros, pivot tables, dynamic tables, etc.)

  • Good knowledge of derivative products in general and/or securities lending

  • Experience in resolving issues on complex financial transactions

  • Must have the capacity to work under pressure, versatility, resourcefulness, proactive and curious
