As a Privacy Analyst (Bilingual - English and French) you will support the ongoing operations of the Privacy Office and the guidance provided to the business in proper management of personal information. This role will support the day-to-day department operations by responding to questions, compiling reports, and managing technology platforms.

As a Privacy Analyst (Bilingual - English and French) you will support the ongoing operations of the Privacy Office and the guidance provided to the business in proper management of personal information. This role will support the day-to-day department operations by responding to questions, compiling reports, and managing technology platforms.
How You Will Create Impact
- Ensuring the Privacy Office is perceived as a valued partner by collaborating with business areas to deliver solutions that drive value and privacy risk mitigation.
- Supporting the handling of inquiries, requests and complaints through the Privacy Office email or phone channels
- Establishing and maintaining tracking of proposed changes to the policies, standards, and procedure documents
- Oversee the data collection for all Privacy Office reporting purposes to ensure data is accurate and complete
- Maintain the Privacy Office Source intranet site to ensure available information is updated and accurate
- Provide guidance and advice to the business on privacy-related questions or concerns to ensure items are addressed appropriately
- Assist with the development of communications to increase privacy awareness
- You influence change and are committed to continuous improvement, in order to exceed client expectations.
- You leverage critical thinking skills to identify problems and proactively propose solutions.
- Your strong communication skills allow you to clearly convey messages.
- You’re an effective team player who shares knowledge to support your peers.
- You have 1 to 3 years of experience in Privacy or Compliance ideally in the insurance or financial services industry
- You have completed a post-secondary degree in relevant discipline from an accredited college or university
- You have or are willing to obtain a professional privacy designation (e.g CIPP/CIPM)
- You have a good understanding of private-sector privacy regulations and obligations, program requirements and controls
- Proficiency in both English and French is essential to the main duties in this role, including servicing and communicating primarily with majority anglophone and francophone clients, groups, and teams. The essential non-French duties are not assignable to adjacent or other team members.
- You will be subject to a Background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.
