What The Role Offers

As a Lead Software Developer, you will:

• Work with big data, analytics, and machine learning
• Identify and evaluate technologies for suitability
• Help determine service architecture
• Investigate and improve application performance
• Provide strong technical leadership
• Lead in setting the quality standards for the team's technical work, from code to software designs, while raising the skill level of less experienced team members.
• Identify and course-correct when the current path does not meaningfully serve customer needs, playing a key role in setting longer-term business strategy.

What You Need To Succeed

• Java, SQL, Spring, Spring Boot
• REST API / JSON
• CI/CD and DevOps (GitLab, Kubernetes, Helm, kustomize, New Relic)
• Python, Scala
• NoSQL
• Relational database experience (preferably Oracle)
• Familiarity with SOA, containerization, Linux
• Big data experience
• Experience integrating with other components and systems at high volume
• In-depth Vertica experience (big plus)
• webMethods
• Security and threat modeling experience
• Data warehouse/processing/analytics: Snowflakes, DataBricks, GCP BigQuery, nifi, airflow, dbt, kafka/pulsar, Apache Spark, Flink
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum
