About the Team

DoorDash's mission is to grow and empower local economies. By building intelligent, last-mile delivery technology for local cities, DoorDash connects people with the local businesses they care about – helping grow business and the communities that support those businesses. To further this mission, we're looking for a Head of Growth who will sit at the intersection of growth, product and operations, to help bring affordable delivery options to Canadian users.

About the Role

As the Head of Growth for DoorDash Canada, you will drive and create a meaningful impact on the next chapter of our growth. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to help define, execute, and scale key consumer programs across affordability (pricing & promotions) and in-app consumer experience and merchandising. You will design and execute local and scalable strategies across markets, including expanding our reach in Canada.

You will report into the GM, Canada. We expect this role to be hybrid with some time in-office and some time remote.

  • Strategize - Develop DoorDash's path to excellence using first principles & empathy, identify trends that emerge and know when to double down and when to try something new.
  • Experiment - Use data to uncover user trends, run experiments, and extract insights from results
  • Analyze - Assess the operational and financial impacts of your decisions. Continuously seek for new improvement that can be made to the experience leveraging performance data.
  • Collaborate - Work with a variety of teams including merchant, product, engineering, finance and analytics to execute on plans. One team, one fight!

We're excited about you because you have…

  • 8+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, finance, analytics or business operations experience ideally in customer focused spaces
  • 4+ years of experience in leading a team across hiring and developing talent
  • A proven track record of building and operationalizing complex strategies with cross-functional stakeholder buy-in, including analytical problem solving, managing cross-functional initiatives, and succeeding in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to operate autonomously, independent thinking, and quick decision making
