Overview

The Event Framework team is looking for a senior software engineer to implement large scale distributed systems by actively engaging in design discussions and consistently producing high quality code. The ideal candidate is passionate about solving highly complex problems, motivated, and has an intellectually curious mindset.

Role

  • Execute baseline architecture implementations and design activities collaborating with other Engineers in the Team.
  • Design and implement scalable, resilient, high performance services and work with existing services with minimum guidance.
  • Implement event driven microservices and actively participate in R&D on the new frameworks
  • Support Tier 1 applications and resolve complex technical issues faced by various development teams in the organization
  • Work to define feature requirements and deliver the product that materially impacts the business and improves the consumer experience.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and come up with novel ways to solve them


All About You

The ideal candidate for this position should have following experience and skillsets:

  • Full stack engineering experience in a production environment
  • Expert programming skills in Java, Spring and reactive programming
  • Proficiency in Software Development Best Practices
  • Experience with middleware platforms (Kafka, NATS) and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace is plus.
  • Experience with deployment automation tools is a plus

Pay Ranges

Vancouver, Canada: $104,000 - $167,000 CAD
