Now, we are looking for a new talent to join our team as Store Manager for our new store on Burrard Street.

As our Store Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring excellence in consumer experience, maximizing store sales, and leading and developing a high-performing team. Peak Performance is part of Amer Sports which is a global community of some of the world’s most recognized, credible, and respected sports and outdoor brands.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieving sales targets, KPIs and driving profitability for the store.
  • Developing and executing store-specific strategies to improve customer experience and increase footfall.
  • Leading and managing a high-performing team of sales associates and ensuring their ongoing development and motivation.
  • Maintaining an optimal and correct level of inventory and visual merchandising standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with operational and administrative policies and procedures and managing store expenses within budget.
  • Building strong relationships with customers, the local community, and relevant stakeholders to drive brand awareness and loyalty.


Mandate:

The store manager is expected to make decisions related to sales, customer service, team management, and inventory management that are aligned with company policies while driving the store's overall profitability and growth.


Success factors:

  • Exceeding sales targets while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and a good working environment.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership skills, motivating and coaching the store staff to perform at their best.
  • Implementing efficient and effective store operations to ensure smooth and profitable daily functioning.
  • Maintaining a deep understanding of the brand, products, and market trends to provide excellent customer service and optimize business opportunities.
  • Continuous improvement, seeking ways to improve store performance, including identifying opportunities for growth
  • Lives and leads by the values and behaviors of Peak Performance

Education & Experience:

  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales and profit results
  • Experience as a leader with track record of team motivation and positive sales results
  • Strong command of local language and English, both verbal and written.
  • Good computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and software programs e.g. Cegid and employee scheduling software.
  • Experience with retail operations, budgeting, planning, customer service, sales and people leadership and management

Compensation Range:

$75,000 - $100,000 CAD
