The Opportunity: As the Manager, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), you will play a crucial role in advancing our DEI strategy and embedding best practices into our organizational behaviors. Reporting to the Director of Talent Development & DEI, you'll support the delivery and implementation of programs and initiatives that promote education, awareness, and process improvement, contributing to a more diverse and inclusive workplace.
In this role, you'll collaborate with various stakeholders to manage DEI projects, deliver training programs, and support internal communication campaigns. Your efforts will align with the Maple Leaf Blueprint and integrate our Leadership Capabilities —Strategic Thinking, Agility and Change Leadership, Growth Mindset, Executional Excellence, and Emotional Intelligence—into all DEI initiatives.

- Programs and Initiatives: Lead the delivery and implementation of programs and initiatives that further our DEI strategy, focusing on education, awareness, and process improvement.
- ERG Partnerships: Partner with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to drive inclusive workplace practices and implement ERG-specific programs and recommendations into our DEI and Talent initiatives.
- Facilitation: Deliver DEI training programs in support of specific initiatives, awareness programs, and cultural initiatives.
- HR Collaboration: Partner with functional HR Leaders and teams to embed DEI principles into talent acquisition, leadership development, and employee engagement.
- Engagement & Communications: Support the production of internal communication campaigns and materials, contributing to the overall DEI internal communications strategy.
- Project Management: Manage DEI initiatives and projects, ensuring timelines, communication, and key deliverables are met.
- Metrics, Reporting, and Analysis: Prepare DEI reports, identify key insights and trends, and make recommendations to inform program development. Conduct industry research to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Policy Audits: Audit people policies, programs, procedures, and processes to identify systemic bias and other potential areas of focus.
- Collaboration: Work closely with HR, business leaders, and external partners to create and sustain high-quality, inclusive programs.
- Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our DEI programs and initiatives. Act as a thought leader and advisor on inclusive leadership and equitable talent practices.
- Blueprint Alignment: Ensure DEI initiatives align with our organizational strategies outlined in the Maple Leaf Blueprint .
- Strong Presentation Skills: Ability to facilitate training in small and large groups, virtually or in person.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to engage with diverse cultural groups and across various organizational levels.
- Commitment to DEI: Deep understanding and commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion principles.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Superior writing, proofreading, and communication planning skills.
- Project Management: Experience managing DEI-related initiatives and programs, ensuring effective project execution.
