Opportunity Overview

You are a representative of The Vancouver Club, and you must present yourself in a professional manner at all times. To present, set up and clean all areas of the Club thoroughly, with the key aim of enhancing the member experience by having excellent standards of Club cleanliness..

Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent customer service, at all times
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in all back-of-house areas and

member areas

  • Service all bedrooms, washrooms and corridors, in line with daily checklists
  • Create and work to daily job lists from the bedroom status list, arrivals and departures list
  • Keep up to date with current promotions, events, and pricing, to provide information to

guests

  • Maintain the stocking levels of all consumables and bedroom items
  • Report any maintenance issues immediately to the Director of Housekeeping, including all

furniture, fittings and equipment

  • Reset lighting to the current standards
  • Complete all periodical tasks, such as flipping mattresses, cleaning curtains and dusting

lamp shades

  • Store all soiled and clean laundry in line with Club policy and complete the required

documentation

  • Fulfill all reasonable requests from guests, to ensure their comfort, satisfaction and safety
  • Report any security issues to the Manager
  • Supply all hand towels, linens, and sheets for all areas of the Club
  • Making sure that all laundered items are ironed and provided in a timely manner
  • Stock all change-rooms, washrooms and linen storage with appropriate amounts

Required Experience And Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
  • Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
