Rotation/Shifts

Days, including weekends, 8 hour shifts.

Basic Requirements

  • Diploma from a recognized college of applied arts and technology in anatomy, basic cardiology and physiology of the heart OR an RPN program OR electrocardiography program;
  • Knowledge of the equipment used to record cardiac activity;
  • Eligible for certification with CSCT;
  • Eligible for certification in CPR and/or first aid;
  • Good arrhythmia interpretation skills;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent organizational skills;
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Sound judgement and problem-solving skills;
  • Initiative;
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Holter and loop-monitoring hook up;
  • Experience dealing with difficult and elderly patients;
  • Proficiency in English and French – oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
