Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers in person, over the phone and electronically in an efficient, accurate and professional manner.
• Addressing product inquires and helping to solve a customer’s building material challenges.
• Provide knowledge of best practices on the installation of various materials and products.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of current building codes and products.
• Ability to read and interpret building plans and drawings.
• Prepare accurate and timely proposals for potential customers.
• Generate both new and incremental business through inbound and outbound calls.
• Work directly with Administration, Procurement and Operations departments to ensure job flow and company service standards.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience with construction/building materials industry an asset.
• High school diploma, trade certificate an asset.
• Knowledge in residential construction through trade or sales experience
• Continuous and motivated learner.
• Able to learn new software applications and industry programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude, highly organized and detail orientated.
• MS Office working knowledge.
