Your Role As Director Of Strategic Purchasing

You will have the opportunity to play a key role in optimizing our purchasing processes, while negotiating with the best suppliers and ensuring the continuity of our operations. You'll collaborate with high-level teams, develop innovative strategies, and have a direct impact on the efficiency and profitability of our organization.

Working with us as a Director of Strategic Purchasing means:

• Supervising and coordinating the purchase of fuels and special products, negotiating with suppliers to obtain the best terms and conditions;
• Optimizing inventory levels to ensure continuous product availability while meeting operational needs;
• Regularly evaluate and monitor supplier performance, making adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and profitability;
• Coordinate purchasing across the supply chain and ensure smooth communication with internal departments;
• Manage purchasing budgets, analyze costs, and monitor financial indicators to optimize spending;
• Lead, train, and supervise your team, ensuring their professional development and the equitable distribution of tasks, and all other tasks related to human resources management;
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce purchasing costs while maintaining quality standards;
• Ensure that purchasing complies with applicable laws and regulations, particularly those concerning the environment;
• Propose and implement continuous improvements in procurement processes to increase efficiency and profitability.

Will you be our next Director of Strategic Purchasing?

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree in administration, operations management, or logistics, or equivalent experience;
• You have more than 8 years' relevant experience in a similar role, ideally in the fuels or specialty products sector;
• You have good time and priority management skills;
• You have good communication, influencing, negotiating, and supervisory skills;
• Your analytical skills enable you to evaluate supplier performance and optimize processes;
• You demonstrate courage, inspire confidence, and encourage collaboration;
• You are action-oriented with a strong ability to make strategic decisions;
• You have a sound knowledge of budgeting, management accounting (cost analysis, statistics), and financial analysis;
• You are familiar with environmental laws and regulations;
• You are bilingual (French-English), essential for communicating with suppliers and customers.
